John and his guys did a great job. From the estimate through installation, they were professional, quick, and did not leave a mess. Hard to find these days. I fully recommend them for your gutters.

Tom Patchett
Responsible, reasonableand responsive to our needs -- quick response and excellent work. All prep done offsite and as little time onsite as nessesary ! T and C Patchett, Santa Monica. Thanks, John!

Yuka Takahara
John and his beautiful and well trained dog came for estimate and he had some great suggestions on where to add and subtract the downspouts. We have never done seamless gutters and they really are very beautiful. We went with a beautiful dark bronze which matches the house and our fascia boards perfectly. The crew did a great job. We will see how they work after some rain but John let me know that they could come back if there is an issue and modify if necessary. Great warranty by the company. Honestly, the dog was the best part. She really should be on your business card not gutters!

Can't rave enough about Jon and AD Green Gutters. Jon was responsive, provided a competitive quote, and did what he said he was going to do.Jon replaced my gutter system and provided insight on the design and installation of the new gutters. Instead of upselling me on more expensive materials, Jon asked what I needed and what my priorities were (low maintenance) and provided his expert opinion. Jon was incredibly flexible with my schedule, followed up, and did a great job at installation.

Melissa G.
So happy with my new gutters. They look beautiful (unusual to say about gutters!) and Jon and his team were so easy to work with. Got exactly what I needed at a super reasonable price. Highly recommend.
What's clogging and damaging your Lake Balboa Gutters?
We'll help safeguard your gutters from Mother Nature
I’ve helped many homeowners and property managers in Lake Balboa maintain and protect their homes from the effects of our changing weather. The area receives about 10 inches of rain each year, mostly between November and April, with heavier downpours often arriving in February. The long, dry summers bake leaves, dirt, and dust into gutters, making it harder for water to flow once the rains return. With mature trees like oaks, pines, and palms common throughout the neighborhood—and Santa Ana winds that can fill gutters in a single day—seamless gutters and consistent cleanings are essential for keeping Lake Balboa homes safe from leaks, foundation issues, and roof damage year-round.

Seasonal Weather Patterns in Lake Balboa
Lake Balboa, California has a warm Mediterranean climate typical of the San Fernando Valley, with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters — a pattern that affects gutter systems in subtle but important ways. In winter (December–February), most of the area’s annual rain falls in heavy bursts that can quickly reveal clogged or sagging gutters. When downspouts are blocked, water can overflow and damage fascia boards, stucco, or landscaping around the foundation. Spring (March–May) brings breezy days and scattered light rain, but also a surge in pollen, leaves, and small twigs from the neighborhood’s many trees, including jacarandas and sycamores. These materials collect in gutters and downspouts, slowing drainage and leading to early rust or staining if not cleaned out.
By summer (June–August), Lake Balboa becomes hot and dry, with highs frequently reaching the upper 80s to mid-90s. While the dry weather gives homeowners a break from rain-related issues, UV exposure and heat expansion can cause gutter seams to separate and coatings to fade. Dust and airborne debris also settle in gutters throughout the summer, forming a base layer that traps new debris later in the year. In fall (September–November), the Santa Ana winds sweep through the Valley, filling gutters with leaves, seed pods, and dust just before the next rainy season begins. Even without freezing weather, Lake Balboa’s mix of heat, wind, and sudden winter rainstorms makes regular gutter inspection and cleaning essential to prevent clogs, leaks, and costly exterior water damage.
During summer (June–August), Burbank’s hot, dry weather — with daytime highs often in the 90s — doesn’t cause clogs directly but can lead to gutter expansion, warping, or seal deterioration, especially on darker metal systems. Dust from dry hillsides and ash from nearby wildfires can also settle in gutters, forming a gritty layer that traps debris later in the year. In fall (September–November), Santa Ana winds and shedding trees like sycamores and oaks can quickly fill gutters with leaves and twigs. This makes late fall cleanings essential to prepare for winter rains. Overall, even though Burbank avoids snow and freezing temperatures, its unique mix of wind, heat, and seasonal rain still makes year-round gutter maintenance critical for preventing clogs and home damage.
