John and his beautiful and well trained dog came for estimate and he had some great suggestions on where to add and subtract the downspouts. We have never done seamless gutters and they really are very beautiful. We went with a beautiful dark bronze which matches the house and our fascia boards perfectly. The crew did a great job. We will see how they work after some rain but John let me know that they could come back if there is an issue and modify if necessary. Great warranty by the company. Honestly, the dog was the best part. She really should be on your business card not gutters!

Can't rave enough about Jon and AD Green Gutters. Jon was responsive, provided a competitive quote, and did what he said he was going to do.Jon replaced my gutter system and provided insight on the design and installation of the new gutters. Instead of upselling me on more expensive materials, Jon asked what I needed and what my priorities were (low maintenance) and provided his expert opinion. Jon was incredibly flexible with my schedule, followed up, and did a great job at installation.

So happy with my new gutters. They look beautiful (unusual to say about gutters!) and Jon and his team were so easy to work with. Got exactly what I needed at a super reasonable price. Highly recommend.

What's clogging and damaging your Thousand Oaks Gutters?

We'll help safeguard your gutters from Mother Nature

I’ve helped many homeowners and property managers in Thousand Oaks protect their homes from the challenges our local weather brings. Thousand Oaks receives about 12 inches of rain each year, mostly from November through April, with the heaviest downpours typically hitting in February. The dry summer months bake leaves, dust, and debris into gutters, while oak and eucalyptus trees shed heavily throughout the year. Combine that with strong Santa Ana winds that can fill gutters overnight, and it’s easy to see why seamless gutter installation and regular maintenance are essential for keeping Thousand Oaks homes protected from leaks, overflow, and water damage year-round.

  • Seasonal Weather Patterns in Thousand Oaks

Thousand Oaks, California experiences a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and hot, dry summers — conditions that can quietly stress gutters and home exteriors throughout the year. In winter (December–February), most of the city’s annual rainfall arrives, often through steady Pacific storms that can quickly overflow gutters clogged with debris from the dry season. These rains can lead to fascia board damage, roof leaks, and erosion near the foundation if water isn’t properly redirected. Spring (March–May) brings milder temperatures, scattered light rain, and breezy days that carry pollen, dust, and leaves from the area’s many oak trees — a signature feature of the region. This mix of organic material and fine debris tends to settle in gutters, trapping moisture and reducing drainage capacity as summer approaches.

By summer (June–August), Thousand Oaks becomes hot and dry, with daytime highs in the upper 80s to 90s and virtually no rainfall. While gutters aren’t tested by storms, UV exposure, heat expansion, and dust buildup can weaken seams, fade finishes, and loosen hardware. In fall (September–November), the Santa Ana winds sweep through the Conejo Valley, blowing leaves, branches, and dirt into gutters just before winter rains return. Even though Thousand Oaks doesn’t experience freezing temperatures or snow, its combination of seasonal wind, heat, and periodic heavy rainfall makes regular gutter cleaning and inspection vital to prevent clogs, leaks, and long-term water damage to the home’s exterior.
